I spent years scrolling through beautiful home decor content feeling quietly frustrated. The outdoor entertaining areas were too formal for the way Australians actually live. The seasonal content assumed you were rugging up for winter in December — when here, December means Christmas outdoors, cold drinks, and a BBQ going from noon until sunset.

We live differently. Our outdoor spaces aren't an afterthought — they're often the best room in the house. And we have our own magnificent coastal aesthetic that has nothing to do with Connecticut or the Cotswolds.
